Job Description
General Summary
Assists in the operation of the Pulmonary Services Department. Provides medical care to patients. Assists in the review of the quality adequacy and appropriateness of services within the department.
Responsibilities
WellSpan Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine is seeking a BC Pulmonary/Critical Care Physician to join our practice in Chambersburg Pennsylvania. This is a comprehensive practice serving Franklin County and surrounding areas.
What you can expect:
- Join a wellestablished team 9 physicians and 9 APPs)
- APPs take first call covering the hospital 24 hour shifts
- Tele ICU available during the overnight hours
- WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital is a 270bed facility
- Full complement of clinic and hospitalbased care
- Full spectrum of bronchoscopy including navigational bronchoscopy Ion and EBUS
- Sleep medicine available in the practice

Qualifications
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
- Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required
Licenses:
- Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
- Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required
Courses and Training:
- Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine. Upon Hire Required and
- Subspecialty Certification in Pulmonary Disease or Pulmonary Disease/Critical Care Medicine. Upon Hire Required and
- Completion of an Internal Medicine residency. Upon Hire Required and
- Fellowship in Pulmonary Disease or Pulmonary Disease/Critical Care Medicine. Upon Hire Required
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Teaching skills.
