Upper Cumberland Specialty Care of Fentress County division of Acute Care Clinics of America. A subsidiary of Presley Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Pulmonologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and treating respiratory conditions with a focus on providing comprehensive care to patients. This role requires expertise in various areas including occupational health acute pain management and addiction medicine. The Pulmonologist will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat patients with respiratory diseases and conditions.
Conduct thorough evaluations including physical examinations and reviewing medical records.
Develop individualized treatment plans that may include medication management ventilatory support and rehabilitation strategies.
Provide care in various settings including telehealth consultations and hospice care.
Collaborate with primary care physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care.
Utilize advanced imaging techniques such as CT scans to assist in diagnosis.
Participate in the management of patients at a Level II Trauma Center.
Educate patients about their conditions and promote preventive health measures.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient interactions.
Requirements
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Board certification in Pulmonology or equivalent training.
Strong knowledge of occupational health practices related to respiratory conditions.
Experience with telehealth platforms is preferred.
Familiarity with acute pain management strategies is a plus.
Proficiency in managing addiction medicine cases related to respiratory health.
Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams.
