The Position: The Leasing Specialist is primarily responsible for assisting in the sales and marketing strategy for the leasing department to ensure maximum occupancy of the community. A successful Leasing Specialist will provide highquality customer service to our residents focus on selling the community to all prospective residents and understand this role is critical to the reputation of the property.


The Property: The Quarters Lincoln is a unique housing community consisting of 157 units and 590 beds designed with University of NebraskaLincoln students in mind.


This is a fulltime position working a standard schedule Tuesday Friday from 9:00am 6:00pm and Saturday from 9:30am 4:00pm. Nights or weekends may be required from time to time dependent on business needs.


The compensation range for this position is $1517/hr plus bonus potential. This range is determined by current market data based on the position requirements and complexities. Final offers of employment will be based on multiple factors including candidate education skills experience and location.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Model and cascade Tailwind Groups five core values: Entrepreneurial Versatile Responsive Innovative and Integrity.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service during each encounter with residents prospects vendors officials and community members.
  • Participate and assist with the and development of marketing efforts on campus and in the community customer appreciation events and other special events.
  • Answer incoming phone calls dropins and email inquiries professionally and handle them accordingly.
  • Act as a lead salesperson when the Leasing Manager is offsite by conducting all tours responding to leasing inquiries and completing followups with the prospective residents.
  • Be an expert on current market conditions trends and local competitors.
  • Monitor community clubhouse amenities and other common areas for superior curb appeal general cleanliness and organization.
  • Assist the Leasing Manager with posting updates and communication through social media.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Sales Marketing Business Administration or related field and/or one or more years of progressive experience in student housing.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a growing fastpaced environment managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Possess strong administrative organization and communication skills.
  • Be a selfmotivated individual and excel at working in a team environment.
  • Understand standards of property management including Fair Housing laws Tenant/Landlord rights and general real estate principles.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs: Excel Word PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Experience with Entrata software is preferred.
