Job Description
Merrimack Valley Emergency Associates (MVEA) is seeking an emergency physician for a fulltime position at our Lowell General Hospital (LGH) Emergency Departments. LGH encompasses two campuses in Lowell MA with a combined ED volume of approximately 90000. The LGHMain Campus is a Level III Trauma Center and primary PCI Center seeing approximately 55000 visits annually while the LGHSaints Campus is a 35000 visit ED approximately 2.5 miles away. There is excellent hospitalist intensivist anesthesia OB pediatric and multispecialty support at both campuses. Our EHR is Epic and is deployed throughout the hospital system.
The ideal candidate will be board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine and will work betweenhours annually. Other flexible or parttime arrangements are possible. Excellent compensation package includes hourly salary plus RVU based productivity bonus. Comprehensive benefits include health dental malpractice long and short term disability and generous CME. Additionally we pay for all license fees and ACEP membership. Profit sharing and 401K plan includes a contribution from the group exceeding 16 percent of annual income.
