Tobin School Westwood is seeking a warm nurturing early childhood Teacherto join our Junior Kindergarten classroom teaching team the classroom with a capacity of 18 children a day. This is a 40 hour per week position with 8 hour shifts between 7:15am and 5:45pm 3 midshifts 8:00am 4:00pm and 2 closing shifts 9:45 5:45. This educator will help supportthis teachingteam in child supervision curriculum planning assessment parent communication andensuring adherence to all safety and sanitation protocols. We offer two standalone classrooms PreK and Junior Kindergarten along with beautiful outside play spaces and an indoor gross motor room.
These classes focus on creating an engaging enriching developmentally appropriate curriculum with an introduction to school readiness skills. We utilize the Second Stepsocial emotional curriculum Wilson Fundations PreK edition for literacy and handwritingand utilize the Teaching Strategies Gold assessment tool. Teachers are encouraged to be creative in their curriculum planning as we help our students grow!
Requirements:
Successful applicants must have EEC Preschool/PreK Teachercertification as well as early childhoodteaching experience. An Associates or Bachelors degree is recommended or working towards (in early childhood or related field is preferred).

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate based on education and range: $21$26.00 per hour.
