In this position...
Ford Finance and Accounting is undergoing a digital transformation leveraging SAP S4 platform which will significantly reduce the size and complexity of technical footprint enable differentiating capabilities and standardize its business processes.
What youll do...
Lead an architecture team supporting global Finance and Accounting domain in SAP S/4HANA and legacy.
Coordinate and align all architecture deliverables and dependencies along with stakeholders across product teams ERP Platform team vendor to ensure solutions are developed to meet architecture standards and program timing.
Leverage SAP ERP products thirdparty clouds (such as Blackline Vertex cloud and Open Text cloud) and Ford standard services (such as Active Directory Google CloudRun BigQuery Informatica MDM and IICS).
Work with the product teams to develop nonfunctional requirements for the products designs the architecture and assists in addressing issues in achieving them
Evaluate architecture and design alternatives including implementing POCs and provides direction on the implementation based on the outcomes
Participate in vendor evaluation processes including leading the technical evaluation of the products and capability evaluation of the vendors
Investigate and recommends interoperability options for any new or revised interfaces aligned with architecture standards
Ensure architecture and implementation adheres to all Ford security requirements. Provide technical consultancy to vendors to ensure their products meet Ford security requirements
Guide the product teams in the development standards of the SAP ERP implementation.
Lead architecture support such as troubleshooting complex performance issues.

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Computer Science or related field
10 years of progressive roles in software development or implementation experience
5 years of experience as a solutions architect
1 full cycle of S4HANA implementation experience.

Master of Science degree in Engineering Computer Science or related field
12 years of progressive roles in software development or implementation experience
7 years of experience as a solutions architect
2 full cycle of S4HANA implementation experience.
In depth technical knowledge of S/4HANA ecosystem.
Active practitioner of Product Driven System of Delivery
Active practitioner of AGILE methodology and familiar with backlog scrumming.
Strong resource management to lead a team of global resources
Functional experience in Finance and Accounting Warehouse Management Order to Cash eCommerce Procure to Pay a plus
SAP RISE cloud BTP cloud experience a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Organizational aptitude to build stakeholder consensus on architecture solutions and roadmaps
