Were currently seeking a skilled and peoplefocused Human Resources Manager to oversee and lead all aspects of our HR operations with a special emphasis on recruiting employee relations compliance training payroll administration and overall team engagement.
Lead all HR functions in accordance with DoubleTree by Hilton standards and applicable federal/state laws.
Partner with the General Manager and department leaders to support staffing development and culture goals.
Recruit interview and assist in selecting qualified candidates for open positions.
Administer new hire onboarding employee orientation and training programs (compliance safety guest service and antiharassment).
Maintain compliance with labor laws OSHA regulations and internal policies.
Address employee relations issues and manage investigations grievances and disciplinary actions.
Support and coach managers on performance reviews corrective action and staff development.
Process payroll accurately and timely ensuring compliance with wage and hour regulations.
Manage timekeeping records and coordinate with thirdparty payroll providers when necessary.
Oversee benefits administration employee leave and workers compensation processes.
Monitor workplace safety and serve on the hotels safety committee.
Maintain uptodate personnel files handbooks and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Prepare and manage the HR department budget.
Qualifications:
23 years of progressive HR experience ideally in a hotel or hospitality setting
Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business or related field preferred
PHR or SPHR certification is a plus but not required
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of HR compliance employment law and best practices
Experience processing payroll and managing payroll systems
Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters professionally
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Publisher)
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required
Mostly sedentary work with occasional walking stair climbing and standing
Ability to lift/move up to 10 pounds
Flexibility to work occasional evenings weekends and holidays as needed

This position pays $62000$67000 annually based on experience.
