Summary of Duties
As a PreEmployment Transition Coordinator (Program Analyst 1 you will:
Work with local school districts to coordinate and create the provision of PreEmployment Transition Services (PreETS) in a variety of settings including classrooms afterschool programs job clubs summer work experiences conferences and workshops among other opportunities for students with disabilities.
Train school staff on VR process and policies including PreETS VR services and the VR eligibility process.
Promote awareness about PreETS offered by VR and school districts by providing trainings and presentations attending conferences and meetings and by participating in other events attended by personnel that interact with student with disabilities and their families.
Act as liaison to the staff of local school districts private schools and public and private agencies by providing disability and vocational consultation responding to telephone inquiries and letters visiting and providing information on disabilities and the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation providing inservice training on disability conferring with agency staff to facilitate relationships to advance the vocational development of students with disabilities and collaborate service provisions to prepare students with disabilities to take full advantage of the services offered by the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation.
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelors Degree in Business or Public Administration Behavioral or Social Sciences or a degree related to the agency program that demonstrates the capacity for the knowledge and skills;
OR
Any combination of experience or education equivalent to three years technicallevel experience that typically supports the knowledge and skill requirements listed for the classification.
Essential Attributes
We are looking for candidates with:
Experience working with students with disabilities on employment related activities and their teams.
Ability to create and provide both virtual and inperson service.
Experience to coordinate services between schools and adult service agencies while maintaining accurate records.
Experience training partners parents families and students on PreETS policy and procedure requirements.

Working Conditions
This position requires up to 75 travel.
The work location in this position is listed for Medford OR. The exact work location will be based on the successful candidates current location.
This position works in a local branch office of Vocational Rehabilitation and in local school districts.
You will be servicing the following counties: Lincoln Benton Linn Lane Douglas Coos Curry Josephine Jackson Klamath and Lake
The school district settings will vary and will include classrooms career cents counseling offices and other locations as needed.
Some flexing of schedule may be required to provide services to students outside of scheduled time.
Year round travel through the branch offices region to attend staff relation events.
Requires valid drivers license or another means of to achieve necessary travel.
