Job Description
Requirements
Degree/Education: Associate Degree for Occupational Therapy Assistant.
Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) Heart Saver (HS) certification using American Heart Association (preferred)
- Certified through the National Board of Certified Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
Experience: Three 3 years of experience within the last five 5 years as an Occupational Therapist Assistant.
- Must have previous experience in the treatment of traumatic brain injury.
Licensure/Registration: Unrestricted license to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
Duties:
Provide a full range of Occupational Therapy Assistant services.
Use assessment tools intervention techniques and treatment modalities under the Plan of Care (POC) of a credentialed provider.
Use complex/multistep instructions with patients caregivers and other health care professionals and adapt those instructions according to the learning styles of the trainees or individuals receiving the instructions
