Job Description
Job Summary:
As an SS Lead Operator youll be on the front lines providing operations and maintenance support on
water treatment systems for one of our customers from one of a variety of industries. This mission
critical role involves working on (and cleaning) a variety of technologies including media filtration
softening reverse osmosis (RO) ion exchange (IX) deoxygenation electro deionization and
ultrafiltration (UF). The primary duty is to unload Process Filter Presses and provide indirect support to
others on your shift. This employee will work alongside SS Operators.
Key Characteristics:
Consult with managers and provide direction to others on your shift
Operate monitor and optimize equipment as directed
Change and Clean Filters and other equipment / Pits
Conduct maintenance and calibration activities
Excellent mechanical know how
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide direction to shift based on direction from management
Empty Process Filter Presses
Power Wash Pits and Equipment including Confined Space Entry
Carry out filter changes process cleaning and process operations as directed by Shift Leads
Maintain site paperwork and provide summaries of work performed
Communicate with Shift Lead on inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and
replacement parts
Monitor and maintain systems as directed
Perform analytical testing as directed
Maintain a clean work area
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Education & Experience
Required:
High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent 2 years
experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment
Preferred (if applicable):
Bachelor or Associates Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in
Instrumentation

Ability and willingness to perform physical duties such as lifting climbing working at elevated
heights and manual dexterity

facilities manufacturing facilities and power industry facilities
