Equipment Operator (Forklift / Telehandler)

Were hiring skilled Equipment Operators (Forklift and/or Telehandler) on behalf of our client in the construction industry. If you have solid seat time know how to move materials safely on a busy site and are a team player with a safety-first mindset we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities

Operate forklifts or telehandlers to transport pallets bundles and materials to crews

Load and unload trucks stack supplies and ensure site pathways are clear
-
Conduct pre-shift equipment checks: fluids forks tires lights etc.

Assist with basic labour tasks when equipment is not in use

Work with site supervisors to plan safe routes and lifting operations

Follow all safety protocols and maintain clear communication with spotters and ground crews
Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience operating forklifts or telehandlers (both preferred)

Valid operator ticket is ideal; if yours is expired or you have hands-on experience but no certification training may be provided

Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions

Full PPE required: hard hat steel-toe boots high-vis vest gloves and eye/ear protection

Strong awareness of surroundings with a team-oriented and safety-conscious approach
Compensation & Schedule
-
Starting at $26/hour with higher rates for dual-ticket operators or high-reach experience

Full-time Monday to Friday day shift
-
Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required based on project needs
