Job Description
As Senior DevOps Engineer 5G Core & Network Focus you will develop advanced technical solutions for the expansion and operation of infrastructure/services taking them to the next level of quality. For the cloudnative based production environment of the 5G Core you will prepare the procedures for the complete life cycle and be the contact person for system integration and troubleshooting.
Your main tasks will also include:
- You support highly complex projects directly in development quality assurance planning and implementation of product releases and configurations.
- You develop and create strategies for automated integration and delivery including the crossproject infrastructure and tool suite.
- You elaborate on the development of new deployment strategies and disaster recovery plans.
- You will work closely with the operations team to improve process efficiency and the performance of the software and system landscapes dealing intensively with innovative topics and concepts.
Qualifications :
You have a university degree with a focus on computer science or a comparable qualification and already have several years of professional experience in the DevOps environment.
Furthermore you are characterized by the following knowledge and skills:
- Very good experience in classic and agile forms of cooperation
- Several years of experience with DevOps cloud and CI/CD tools
- Outstanding knowledge of microservice architecture and cloudbased applications and databases
- Excellent knowledge of Helm Istio Prometheus Flux/ArgoCD Harbor Kubernetes CNI deployment and troubleshooting (i.e. Cilium Calico Coil) and Linux.
- Outstanding experience with cloud technologies such as AWS CI/CD Docker/Kubernetes/OpenStack
- Very good understanding and knowledge of the architecture and call flows of ePC and 5GC (focus on 5GSA)
- Very good skills in English (writing and speaking)
- Nice to have: basic skills in German (mainly speaking)
