Job Description
This is a remote position.
Role: Senior Consultant
Location: Fully Remote; Travel is not required but there could be opportunities for limited travel in the future

About the Role:
Rust Belt Resources has partnered with a growing boutique consultancy in order to add a key person to help support the continued expansion of emergent technology implementations. This person should possess a strong accounting foundational knowledge with a consulting background and experience in software implementation and alliance partner and client exposure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teams on endtoend implementations of Xelia and Trintech Adra (as needed).
- Analyze current financial close processes and implement automation efficiency and risk reduction.
- Work closely with teams to adhere to project timelines and business requirements to enable high quality delivery.
- Work towards becoming a subject matter expertise in financial close and accounts payable as well as other areas of the Office of Finance.
- Participate in client facing training sessions and meetings.
- Support business development by nurturing and collaborating with newer alliances to drive market opportunity.
- Involvement in the nurturing and development of a new alliance relationship with the opportunity to support a growth area for the business.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting Computer Science Information Systems or related field.
- 3 years of experience in management consulting with exposure to financial process optimization and software implementation.
- Experience supporting transformation projects within the Office of Finance and collaborating across teams.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills to identify and help resolve challenges while optimizing processes.
- Understanding of project management and change management principles.
- Ability to thrive in a clientfacing role building strong relationships and delivering exceptional customer service
Preferred Qualifications:
- Combination of experience in consulting and an accounting operational role.
- Exposure to partnerships/alliances or experience working alongside business development teams.
- Knowledge of accounting industryspecific software or technologies is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
