TPF Recruitment Kent s leading accountancy practice recruitment agency is recruiting for a Senior Accountant to join a fantastic accountancy practice based in Tonbridge. This successful accountancy practice provides a comprehensive range of services for clients across diverse industries including audit accounts tax bookkeeping payroll VAT management accounts outsourced accounting payroll and specialized tax advisory services.
As a Senior Accountant Manager at their Tonbridge office you will play a handson role managing your own portfolio of clients and overseeing the work of junior staff. Your responsibilities will include preparing accounts tax filings bookkeeping and management accounts for sole traders partnerships and ownermanaged limited companies. This role offers increasing client interaction and strong career progression potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a diverse mix of assignments including accounting and corporate tax for sole traders partnerships and limited companies
- Regular client interaction to ensure high service standards
- Reporting directly to the Managers and Partners
- Involvement in strategic business planning for clients including supporting with tax planning
- Collaborating with the managers and partners to support and drive the firm s growth
Requirements
- You will have a career background in accountancy practice preparing a mix of accounts tax management accounts bookkeeping and VAT services for a variation of clients to include limited companies partnerships and sole traders.
- You will have at least 3 5 years experience or more ideally gained within accountancy practice and be looking to further your career.
- You will be ACCA/ACA qualified or have developed your career through experience only.
Benefits
You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3 years experience within practice. You will have worked as Semi Senior or Senior accountant within practice Experience of Iris and cloud software such as Xero/ Quickbooks would be advantageous
