Job Description

As an MIS Manager in a real estate company you will oversee data management automate reporting systems and provide actionable insights to support project planning sales and finance. The role is critical in streamlining operations and enabling datadriven decisionmaking across departments.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Management Reporting

  • Prepare accurate and timely MIS reports for management review

  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and variances

  • Develop dashboards and visual reports to support strategic decisionmaking

  • Coordinate with various departments to gather data and ensure report accuracy

  • Automate regular reports to improve efficiency and reduce errors

Budgeting and Forecasting

  • Assist in preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts

  • Support business units in setting realistic financial targets

  • Track actual performance against budget and highlight deviations

  • Help improve accuracy of forecasting through data validation and analysis

Costing and Financial Analysis

  • Prepare cost sheets and conduct variance analysis for ongoing projects

  • Monitor projectlevel profitability and highlight cost overruns

  • Collaborate with project and procurement teams to validate cost assumptions

  • Support pricing decisions with relevant cost data and margin analysis

Cash Flow and Financial Planning

  • Prepare rolling cash flow forecasts for business planning

  • Track inflows and outflows to ensure optimal liquidity management.

  • Highlight cash gaps and work with finance team for corrective actions

  • Assist in planning fund requirements based on project timelines

Process Improvement and Controls

  • Review existing MIS processes and recommend improvements

  • Ensure adherence to reporting deadlines and data accuracy standards

  • Support internal audits and data requests with appropriate documentation

  • Maintain proper backup and controls for all reports and financial models



Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Finance Accounting or related field; MBA or relevant certification preferred

  • 2 5 years of experience in MIS reporting costing budgeting and forecasting within the real estate industry

  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in cash flow planning and financial planning

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to synthesize complex financial data

  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and presentation skills

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in crossfunctional teams and meet tight deadlines



Qualifications: CA / MBA Finance / CMA or equivalent financial qualification. 15+ years of financial leadership experience, strong background in construction industry finance. Expertise in project accounting, cost control, and cash flow planning. Prior experience in setting up accounting systems and financial processes.
