WRIC/Richmond VA is expanding our Lifestyle programming. We are seeking a creative and motivated Lifestyle Show/Special Projects Producer to manage an hourlong communityfocusedlifestyle program.

- Produce daily segments and packages for weekday show
- Organize show content in a cohesive sequence to engage and grow the audience
- Ensure daily production is highly produced teases are strong and content adheres to priorities
- Book and schedule aslive and pretaped instudio interviews and onlocation segments
- Evaluate entertainment and cultural value of stories for broadcast and website
- Work closely with Sales to integrate & schedule sponsored client segments
- Work with production team on recording schedules and show management
- Attend daily content meetings provide timely feedback and make solid decisions
- Handson oversight of an hourlong show Monday Friday
- Build relationships with guests clients community members and show contributors
Requirements & Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Journalism or related field or equivalent combination of education and workrelated experience
- Minimum 3 years producing a live hourlong show or equivalent experience
- Ability to preproduce stories on time and on brand
- Must have strong organizational skills and ability to prioritizeto meet tight deadlines
- Experience with ENPS Ross XPression and Streamline and Adobe Premiere Pro a plus
