HR DIRECTOR AT PRIMEFLIGHT
The HR Director is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing division specific human resources business partners. This position involves developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy including talent acquisition and onboarding performance management and employee engagement. You will work closely with senior management to provide strategic and tactical HR guidance ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations and fostering a positive work culture. Additionally you will oversee HR operations manage the HR team and are involved in decisionmaking processes regarding workforce planning and organizational development.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide strategic leadership to the HR department setting the overall HR vision and strategy in alignment with the companys goals
- Oversee all aspects of HR functions including recruitment talent management employee relations compensation and HR compliance
- Collaborate with senior management and business leaders to develop and execute HR strategies that support the companys growth and objectives
- Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals providing guidance coaching and performance management
- Drive talent acquisition efforts ensuring the recruitment of top talent to meet the organizations staffing needs and seamless onboarding process.
- Develop and implement HR policies procedures and programs that foster a positive workplace culture and compliance with labor laws
- Establish and monitor key HR metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of HR strategies and make datadriven decisions
- Lead employee engagement and retention initiatives to create a motivated and highperforming workforce
- Manage employee relations including conflict resolution grievance handling and fostering a positive work environment
- Collaborate with leadership on organizational development workforce planning and succession planning
- Ensure compliance with HRrelated laws and regulations staying informed about changes and updates
- May be assigned other duties as required
- Ability to travel as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- 18 years of age or older
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to work in office onsite MondayFriday
- Ideal candidate will be in one of the following locations;
- Houston Texas
- Ontario California
- Portland Oregon
- 10 years of HR management experience preferably in a similar industry or large organization
- Indepth knowledge of HR functions employment legislation and best practices
- Ability to work in a high paced environment
- Proven leadership and strategic planning skills
- Strong communication negotiation and interpersonal abilities
- Experience with HRIS and talent management systems
- Ability to handle complex and sensitive employee relations issues
- Intermediate/Highly proficient Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook
- Ability to read write speak and understand the English language to include documents
- Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically including the use of adaptive technologies or methods as necessary
- Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients both inperson and through electronic means
- Pass a background check and drug screen
