  • Duration: Fixed term 12 months
  • Remuneration: $superannuation
  • Location: Kensington UNSW Campus (hybrid)

About this role and why it matters

The Student Success Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting the administrative function of the portfolio through efficient and effective administrative support of the portfolios activities services programs and projects. This is a new role that will be responsible for data collection and entry the cocreation and maintenance of dashboards and reporting aligned with institutional policies and government regulations while maintaining a high standard of data integrity and security.

The role reports to the Executive Officer and has no direct reports. This is a fixed term 12month contract.

Main overall responsibilities Summary

  • Contribute to the general administrative needs of the office including data collection validation processing and quality assurance tasks ensuring data accuracy and consistency across all information
  • Contribute to the cocreation and maintenance of information and reporting dashboards platforms and sites
  • Perform data entry updates and tracking and contribute to regular reporting for portfolio activities and services
  • Contribute to the enhancement of data management processes and workflows
  • Identify trends and insights to support decisionmaking processes
  • Support audits and compliance checks related to data and reporting
  • Assist staff with inquiries related to data and reporting as directed and contribute to capacity building in digital data analytics
  • Support the implementation of new technologies and systems for data collection and reporting

Who You Are

We are looking for someone who is aligned with UNSWs vision who enjoys manipulating data is techsavvy and doesnt mind repetitive tasks and who comes equipped with:

  • Previous administrative experience more specifically experience with data collection and reporting is essential
  • Proficiency with Excel (reporting data manipulations graphs dashboards formulas)
  • Experience using Power BI and Microsoft PowerApps would be ideal
  • A love for high attention to detail streamlining and a proven ability to deal with multiple tasks establish priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in technical and digital skills and experience or aptitude to work with student management systems databases or CRM platforms and all Microsoft applications
  • The ability to explain complex/more technical concepts into simple terms to nontechnical stakeholders
  • An understanding of the student experience and lifecycle would be ideal

Working hours are Monday to Friday business hours. The team works on a hybrid basis 3 days in the office 2 days at home).
