ABOUT US: Health Imperatives (HI) is a multiservice organization dedicated to reducing health and wealth disparities while advancing meaningful opportunities and economic security for people south of Boston. Our mission is to improve the health and wellbeing of lowincome or vulnerable families and individuals in Southeastern Massachusetts. The communities we serve including Brockton New Bedford Plymouth the South Shore South Coast Cape Cod Marthas Vineyard and Nantucket have some of the highest poverty rates and largest wealth gaps in Massachusetts. For nearly 50 years we have addressed the complex needs of people who are disadvantaged by poverty and discrimination and have fallen through the cracks of mainstream systems of care. TITLE: Home Visitor
PROGRAM: Cape Cod & the Islands Healthy Families Programs
HOURS: Fulltime (flexible hours required)
SALARY: $27.10 per hour plus benefits

DUTIES: Under the supervision of the Site Supervisor the Home Visitors responsibilities include the following:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma and three to five years of early childhood experience or bachelors degree in social work early childhood education human services or related field and one to three years of early childhood experience. Travel required. Reliable transportation valid MA drivers license auto insurance registration and a safe driving record required. Knowledge of community resources helpful. Excellent written and spoken English language skills. Must maintain a flexible schedule.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bilingual in Portuguese Spanish or Haitian Creole
