ESY 2025
High School Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP)
1 Position Total
Qualifications (Required):
- Valid License as a Speech and Language Pathologist
- Successful teaching experience.
- Experience implementing direct speech services including articulation receptive and expressive language needs and social communication.
- Ability to relate /communicate effectively with teachers students parents and administrators.
- Teachers must commit to being present for each day of the program. See dates below for more info.
Qualifications (Preferred):
- Experience working in the Malden Public Schools.
- SEI Endorsement.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement ESY Curriculum for students on IEPs.
- Complete planning logs for each session and maintain student attendance records.
- Keep folders/portfolios with student work.
- Perform other related activities as required by the Program Coordinator.
- Develop Progress Reports at the end of the ESY Program.
Duration:
- Program Administration and Implementation 103 hours total to include the following:
- Professional Inservice Day (July 13 hours).
- 20 days MondayThursday from July 7 August 7 7:30 a.m. 12:30 p.m..
Salary: $37 an hour $3811 total 20 days/5 hrs 1 inservice at 3 hours)
