DSHS WSH Licensed Practical Nurse 2
Some of what youll do:
- Assist with the rehabilitation of patients and residents according to the treatment plan
- Promote a better understanding of hospital policies
- Attend to the general care of patients and residents provide emotional and physical comfort and safety and maintain an attractive and comfortable environment
- Participate in education programs and treatment team conferences
- Care for patients/residents with communicable diseases including necessary sterilization and observation of aseptic techniques
- Observe record and report the general condition of patients/residents
- Participate in providing a therapeutic environment through acceptance of patients and residents behavior and guidance toward more rational behavior
What were looking for:
- Proven ability to discern and apply practical nursing principles and concepts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to perform and interpret basic physical and treatment techniques
- Detailoriented reporting and ability to relay clear accurate information
Preferred Qualification:
- CPR certified
