Job Description
Summer 2025
HighSchool Credit Recovery Program
Math Teacher
46 Positions)
Responsibilities:
- Provide grade level work within content area for credit recovery (approximately 64 hours)
- Grade work share mid summer report with student and caregivers approximately 4 hours)
- Maintain student attendance records (approximately 4 hours)
- Track student work and progress (approximately 6 hours)
- Perform other related activities as required (approximately 2 hours)
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts teacher certification in Mathematics
- Ability to relate /communicate effectively with teachers students parents and administrators
- Experience working in the Malden Public Schools is preferred
- Applicants must commit to being present for each day of the program. See dates above for more info.
- ESL Licence or SEI Endorsement preferred
Duration:
- MHS Summer School Credit Recovery will run from June 30 to July 31 2025
- Monday Thursday 7:45am 12:30pm
- Total of 18 days
Salary: $37 an hour for up to 80 hours $2960 total)
