What youll do:

Position title:SAP iXp Intern AI Development and Implementation

Location:Hybrid Chicago or Newtown Square location

Expected start date:August / September 2024

Duration:12 months

Working hours: Fulltime40 hrs./week

A Technical Intern will support the development and implementation of AIdriven solutions focusing on practical and innovative use cases within the software industry. The intern will work within the Customer Success team to explore and prototype new AI applications contributing to the companys strategic goals and technical advancements.

As AI is a steadily changing field the ability to deal with change complexity resilience and resourcefulness are key for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and deployment of AI use cases applying novel approaches to improve operational effectiveness.
• Participate in the full lifecycle of AI projects from ideation to deployment.
• Support the integration of AI solutions into existing software products.
• Research the everchanging and emerging AI trends and assess their applicability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and reports.

Ideal Qualifications:

Education:

Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics or related fields. Exceptions are possible when demonstrating strong resourcefulness in applying technology or developing solutions in creative ways.

Technical Skills:

• Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python is helpful; familiarity with JavaScript and frontend development is a plus. Any highlevel programming language counts.
• AI & Machine Learning: Experience with open source machine learning frameworks (e.g. PyTorch Llamaindex) or extensive use of frontier language model use.
• Data Science: Understanding of data analysis statistical modeling and data visualization tools.

Other Skills:

• Strong problemsolving abilities and practical application of AI techniques.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
• Business acumen to understand the impact of AI solutions on business processes and outcomes.

Helpful Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Google Cloud) and version control systems (e.g. Git).
• Knowledge of REST API development and database design (NoSQL and RDBMS).
• Prior experience in project or program leadership and agile methodologies.
• Background in user experience design and prototyping.
• Proven scientific rigor in conducting experiments.

Helpful Additional Skills:

• Familiarity with fullstack development including frontend technologies.
• Experience with innovation accelerators and entrepreneurial initiatives.
• Knowledge of industryspecific AI applications and market trends.
