Description/Job Summary
SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION
Schedule: Rotating 12 hours shifts 7:00p.m. to 7:30 a.m. overtime as needed including weekends and holidays.
Job Summary:
Perform all necessary tasks involving producing packing and shipping flour. May include driving a forklift telescoping forklift. Perform prescribed preventive maintenance on equipment. Follow food safety legal quality process control policies and regulations. Maintain required company forms and records. Report any defective materials or questionable conditions to the lead operator or a member of management. Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School graduate or GED
- Must possess basic math skills. (add subtract multiply and divide)
- Must be mechanically inclined to perform basic maintenance and troubleshoot.
- Must be possess basic computer skills.
- Close visual work on PC and controls determine detail able to distinguish colors.
- Must be willing and able to climb up to 100 feet using catwalk and ladders.
- Must be willing to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. a distance of 50 feet as needed.
- Must be willing to bend stoop push pull twist and turn throughout the day.
- Must be willing to work in hot and cold temperatures inside and outside the plant for periods of time. (no climate control)
- Must be willing to work in a dust rotating equipment noise and moving lift environment for periods of time.
- Must be willing to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Must be willing to work unsupervised and with others.
- Work extended shifts and weekends as needed.
- Must read speak write and understand the Basic English language.
