Job Description
Minimum Qualifications:
Required: Graduate from a oneyear medical laboratory or clinical laboratory training program approved by the ABHES CAHEA or other organization approved by HHS. Certification with the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or successful completion of certification within 12 months of employment.
Preferred: Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology and completion of a medical laboratory training or clinical laboratory training program approved by ABHES or CAHEA or other organizations approved by HHS. One to three years of clinical laboratory experience

Position Summary:
Performs a variety of waived moderately complex and highly complex tests on patients of all ages as defined by CMS2226F: 42 CFR 493 Medicare Medicaid and CLIA programs Interpretive Guidelines for Laboratories Appendix C and Subpart M. Applies principles theories and techniques according to Laboratory Practices and Procedures to produce accurate test results in Blood Bank Chemistry Hematology and Microbiology.
