The Role
NWP Learning Commons is looking for a temporary Learning Commons worker to work at the service desk in the Learning Commons. The incumbent will assist with patron questions inperson and via chat and perform assorted circulation duties. This is an oncampus temporary casual position (up to 17.5 hrs./week) requiring the incumbent to come into the Learning Commons typically for 4 hr. shifts between 2:00 pm and 9:00 pm Mondays through Fridays as well as weekends 10:00 am 8:00pm

Requirements
The successful candidate will have the following necessary skills and attributes to be successful in this role:
- proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook;
- library and customer service experience is preferred;
- strong organizational and multitasking skills;
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and
- flexible schedule.
