To lead the country marketing strategy & activities for the assigned brands within the therapeutic area including local implementation of marketing strategies goals and operational plans to maximize impact and product performance.

Major accountabilities:
Understands customer needs and translates them into effective strategic and tactical marketing plans
Prepares market and Novartis for new product launches ensuring a close collaboration with Market Access RA and Medical
Develops innovative marketing activities and promotional mix to meet brand objectives and customer needs.
Monitors business performance environmental changes and competitive situation via appropriate tools to plan proactively corrective actions as required to meet business objectives.
Liaises with external agencies to prepare local marketing events
Accurately forecasts and manages the local brand budgets and product supplies
Develops and executes operational plans to maximize product sales jointly with colleagues from Market Access Medical RA and Sales.
Ensure a close Collaboration with the Sourcing Department to implement the tactical Plan.
Close interaction with the Supply chain in tracking brand performance and supply.
Frequently interacts with customers to receive insights about their needs and expectations
Frequently interacts with the field force to ensure and optimize the strategy
Acts as brand champion to create enthusiasm and focus internally and with external customers and agencies.
Key performance indicators:
Market share & market share growth.
Performance management feedback meetings surveys (i.e. Field Force Marketing capabilities Global Marketing Medical Department Regulatory Department)
Ensure full compliance to all regulatory & code of conduct requirements
Minimum Requirements:
Work Experience:
Min of 5 years in the pharmaceutical brand management position.
