Job Description

Use Your Power for Purpose

As the Manager Planning and Scheduling within the Plant Supply & Logistics Focus Factory you will play the critical role in planning issuing and managing production schedules.

You will ensure that the products arrive to the distribution centers on time and within acceptable quality parameters meeting the desired objectives. Through your knowledge in logistics management you will guide the and continuous improvement of standard processes to meet customer requirements.

With your planning skills youll manage the material supply and demand to ensure a controlled flow of approved material and equipment based on the production and inventory requirements through ownership of the FLOW process. You will manage the 5week production schedule of the endtoend Focus Factory as well as Customer Service for the plant.

What You Will Achieve

You will be responsible for maintaining the projected supply delivery date for stockout items to the global supply chain. This position ensures continuous supply and adherence to cycle time requirements by prioritizing batch disposition and coordinating with distribution centers investigation teams and quality colleagues as well as ensuring the planning schedule for Plant Supply & Logistics is aligned with the Filling schedules.

The role involves tracking influencing and escalating issues related to supply chain delays to the Center of Excellence (CoE) at the site and collaborating with the distribution centers to ensure that they have the most current information.

Your coordination skills will help in interdepartmental planning activities with quality assurance manufacturing purchasing engineering inventory control and distribution etc. You will be responsible for planning delivery of products to provide an uninterrupted flow of commodities workinprocess and/or finished goods.

In this role you will:

  • Manage production schedule and understand constraints based on plant schedules

  • Support endtoend FLOW process for the Focus Factory

  • Maintain projected supply delivery dates for stockout items to global supply chain and evaluates risks of supply based on market coverages using Pfizer tools (SAP Tableau OSCAR BOBJ etc.

  • Prioritize batches through the Focus Factory to ensure continuous supply and MCT adherence and market needs.

  • Prioritizebatches to be dispositioned by quality

  • Escalate supply issues with product supply and planning management to drive internal solution and mitigation.

  • SAP maintenance for 5week plan i.e. maintain planned downtime noncommercial runs etc..

  • Work with other departments to provide data related to production schedules and commodities.

  • Work with colleagues and suppliers of production commodities to provide ongoing delivery of material in a timely manner and drive for resolution of any quality and production capacity issues.

  • Material manufacturing readiness to ensure all products onthe schedule have materials available and hard allocate components where .

  • Release process orders and sequence and allocate component prep and solutions

  • Scheduling and planning process improvements

  • Contribute to the completion of projects and manage own time to meet agreed targets and develop plans for activities on own projects.

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and integrate Inventory management into the core business process of stakeholder groups

  • Act as first line troubleshooting SME for the schedule Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and process related issues.

  • Provide necessary training to team to support data and ERP systems troubleshooting.

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and integrate Material Requirements Planning (MRP) & inventory management into the core business process of stakeholder groups

  • Work with distribution centers to ensure STOs are sent to the site in a timely manner to allow for shipment.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements):

  • Applicant must have a bachelors degree with at least 4 years of experience;
  • OR a masters degree with at least 2 years of experience;
  • OR a PhD with 0 years of experience;
  • OR as associates degree with 8 years of experience;
  • OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 10 years ofrelevant experience.
  • Experience in a GMP environment in the biotech or pharma industry
  • Proficient using SAP MRP and indepth knowledge of Master Data Concepts
  • Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good understanding of process manufacturing/ computer systems
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change and strong collaborative skills
  • Proactive and effective communication within and across shifts

Bonus Points If You Have(Preferred Requirements):

  • Experience with technology transfer
  • Experience in a GMP environment in the biotech or pharma industry.
  • Basic project management

  • Sitting for extended periods.
  • Extended time looking at computer monitors.

NONSTANDARD WORK SCHEDULE TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • May require working nonstandard hours or shifts to support 24/7 operations.
  • Travel to different sites or locations may be necessary to ensure alignment and support for engineering projects.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $102900.00 to $171500.00. In addition this position is eligible for participation in Pfizers Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 15.0 of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
