As we continue to expand our global footprint were looking for a Senior Data Architect to build and evolve the data strategy that will power our next stage of growth.

About the Role

As our Senior Data Architect you will be the strategic owner of Zonos data architecture. Youll design and oversee data structures pipelines and governance frameworks to ensure reliable scalable and secure data flows across the business. Your work will enable actionable insights operational efficiency and innovative data products that impact Zonos and our customers globally.

Youll collaborate with engineering product and business teams to create systems that turn data into a strategic asset. If youre passionate about architecting data ecosystems from the ground up and enjoy solving complex data challenges in a highgrowth environment wed love to meet you.

What Youll Do

• Design implement and maintain scalable data architecture aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Define data standards governance and best practices to ensure data quality security and compliance.
• Build and optimize data pipelines for ingestion transformation and storage from multiple sources.
• Partner closely with engineering product and analytics teams to understand data needs and deliver robust solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend tools technologies and processes for our evolving data stack.
• Lead initiatives to democratize data access and enable selfservice analytics across the organization.
• Ensure data privacy and compliance with regulations (GDPR CCPA etc..
• Mentor engineers and analysts on data architecture and engineering best practices.
• Play a key role in our journey toward data platform maturity including modern data warehousing realtime data processing and machine learning enablement.
  
  

What Youll Bring

• 8 years of experience in data architecture data engineering or a related role.
• Proven experience designing and implementing scalable data architectures in cloud environments (e.g. AWS GCP Azure).
• Strong expertise in SQL data modeling ETL design and data pipeline orchestration.
• Experience with modern data stack tools (e.g. dbt Snowflake Redshift BigQuery Airflow Kafka etc..
• Solid understanding of data governance security and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills able to translate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
• Experience with ecommerce payments logistics or crossborder trade data.

What we offer

• Target compensation range of $147k$184k: Actual salaries will vary based on various factors such as education experience training scope etc. The salary noted is just one component of our total compensation package.
