Job Description:

As a Bookkeeper you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and success of our firm. You will oversee all financial operations and collaborate closely with our legal team to support our growth and maintain financial stability. Responsibilities:

• Financial Management:Manage the daytoday financial operations of the firm including financial reporting and auditing.

• Trust Accounting:Oversee client disbursement processes process client transactions via ACH and check and ensure compliance with trust accounting regulations.

• Expense Management:Monitor and pay expenses review vendor contracts and optimize costsaving opportunities.

• Tax Compliance:Ensure compliance with tax regulations and work closely with external tax advisors.

• Team Leadership:Lead and mentor a small accounting team fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

• Financial Software:Utilize Quickbooks and our case management software to process transactions and document files.

Qualifications:

• Degree is not required but associate or bachelors degree in Accounting Business Management or similar major will be taken into consideration for compensation

• Proven experience 3 years) in the accounting field preferably in a law firm or professional services environment.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks Xero) and Microsoft Excel.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to be a team player
