Job Description
English as a Second Language Certification Required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate (CE CEAS Provisional or Standard) with English as a Second Language Endorsement 1475;
- Demonstrated knowledge of subject specialty and effective teaching methods;
- Ability to connect realworld experience to the classroom and apply new techniques;
- Knowledge of best practices in working with English language learners;
- Ability to maintain a positive learning environment;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
REPORTS TO:Director of Postsecondary Services
SALARY:Hourly as per the BOE approved MCTS Salary/Wage Guide for Hourly and Per Diem Employees
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:Parttime as needed as per the Adult Evening School calendar
