Job Description
SUMMARY
Effectively manage the learning environment to prepare lesson plans instruct students evaluate and monitor students performance in order to advance student achievement. Understand and appreciate diversity. Work collaboratively with a team to plan instruction. Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Arizona Elementary Certificate with Art K12 Endorsement
OR
Arizona Secondary Certificate with Art approved area or Art K12 Endorsement
OR
Arizona Arts Education CertificatePreK12 Certificate
OR
Arizona Subject Matter Expert Certificate 612 with Art approved area
CURRENT Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students
Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED UPON HIRE:
Provide proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles) or proof of MMR immunization.

LOCATION: Pistor Middle School Irvington & Cardinal Area
FTE :1.0 7.5 hours per day
Work Calendar: 9.5 month
Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.

Probationary Contracts will be issued for any contingent Certifications Positions that are 0.6 FTE or less and certified employees within their first three years with the District.
