Join our dynamic team at PwC as the Head of Leadership & Talent Development where youll be at the forefront of driving best practice leadership and talent development solutions. Your role will empower PwCs executives and leaders to achieve the ambitious objectives of our One Firm Strategy both financial and cultural with dynamism and precision.

About the Role

Our team is expanding and were looking for a Head of Leadership & Talent Development to join our vast community of solvers and lead our leadership and talent development team. The role brings our purpose to life by unlocking the potential of our leaders through impactful learning experiences that drive meaningful impact and personal as well as organisational change. With thought leadership and exceptional at its core this role will bring energy and commercial acumen to develop sustained solutions that are grounded in best practice and support our cultural ambitions..

Youll help solve complex problems by using your skills in:

  • Strategic Leadership development: Providing thought leadership to design and implement best practice leadership and talent development aligned with PwCs One Firm Strategy including supporting our culture change agenda.

  • Business Insight: Use your understanding of business dynamics to advance the Firms goals and drive effective strategic and meaningful outcomes through effective measurement and determining ROI

  • Leadership Curriculum: Oversee the refresh of PwCs leadership skills development curriculum to ensure alignment with strategic objectives incorporating a contemporary diagnostics pathway and enhanced learner experience journey

  • Talent Development Innovation: Driving innovative approaches to talent development that support succession planning retentionand growth by leveraging best practices to enhance the depth of talent within the firm.

  • Effective Communication: Developing and delivering change and multimode communications plans tailored to diverse audiences to engage and motivate our leaders to be the best they can be to convey key messages clearly.

  • Team Collaboration: Leading a team and collaborating with Centers of Excellence (CoE) and other departments to understand and integrate people data and insights into leadership strategies that deliver impact.

Your impact will be seen by:

  • Acting as the Centre of Excellence (CoE) for PwC leadership and talent development insights programs targeted talent processes and their deployment

  • Partnering with peer CoE (Organisational Development and broader teams) to ensure key people insights and strategies are integrated into Leadership and Talent Development strategies and practices

  • Overseeing a team (approx. 4 collaborating with many varied stakeholders to deliver meaningful outcomes Resetting the PwC Leadership curriculum for commerciality and clarity ensuring a clear leadership roadmap and diagnostics for Partners and Leaders at all levels across PwC

  • Accelerating talent developmental approaches that enable key succession and talent retention and development for key talent segments utilising best practice thinking.

  • Implementing Leadership and talent metrics aligned to business growth and the PwC One Firm strategy


Desired Experiences

  • Extensive and demonstrated experience in leadership and talent development (strategy and best practice thinking .

  • Familiarity in a COE model (matrixed) balanced with People and Culture commercial business partnering experience leadership strategy creation coupled with leading change to bring people on the journey.

  • Talent identification and succession planning thought leadership that delivers impact

  • Demonstrated impact to business outcomes as evidence of these experiences.

Preferred Knowledge

  • Understanding of changing marketplace conditions and the impact this has on the evolving leadership skills required of our business leaders

  • Understanding of cultural and engagement drivers (and measurement) and its impact on leadership and talent development strategies
