Position Summary

BNI Global is looking for a Director Global Learning Operations to devise our organizational learning strategy oversee its implementation and ensure successful adoption across the organization. This role will partner with leaders and team members across the organization to carefully identify the developmental needs of our directors and members. In this role the right person will facilitate setting our people up for success in their current roles and support future changes or growth they may be interested in. The ideal candidate for this role will have proven experience curating training and development programs from scratch and will know what it takes to improve upon existing programs

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop an organizational learning and development strategy that is tied to overall corporate objectives linked to company success drivers supportive of director member and employee experience desires and that all learning opportunities are fair inclusive and accessible to all
  • Identify and assess current and future learning needs through skills gap analysis job analysis career/learning paths annual reviews feedback and discussions with managers
  • Leverage a variety of training methods to ensure successful learning across the organization for directors members and employees considering learning styles language requirements cultural differences time zones and workload demands
  • Facilitate training and coach facilitators on training best practices providing coaching to inhouse trained facilitators
  • Stay up to date on industry technologies and trends and best practices in learning development to ensure that the training programs are effective and relevant
  • Monitor and evaluate learning effectiveness tracking and reporting regularly on KPIs and adjusting programs based on feedback
  • Maintain an up to date understanding of the latest learning trends developments and best practices
  • Provide opportunities for ongoing development for directors members and employees at every level of the organization

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelors degree in education human resources workforce development or relevant field plus 710 years of experience in corporate training; or equivalent experience in corporate training
  • Experienced in synchronous and asynchronous learning management system administration
  • Excellent oral and written communication and leadership skills able to communicate at all levels
  • Ability to plan manage multiple tasks at once and manage time effectively
  • Strong writing and reporting ability for reports and training manuals
  • Proven ability with modern training methods (mentoring coaching onthejob or in classroom elearning webinars etc.

Preferred:

  • You possess certification in Change Management methodology or are experienced in the use of Lean continuous improvement tools (problem solving standard work root cause analysis voice of the customer etc..
  • Possess project management certification and/or are experienced in scope management quality management resource management risk management and integration management.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift carry push pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists hands and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
