Hours: up to 15 hours per week (based on business needs & availability)
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Kitchen Staff are responsible for the preparation and serving of all food and beverage in the main kitchen as well as stocking rotating and preparation of raw materials and menu items using the point of sales system (POS) and serving customers properly handle sales transactions (cash credit card debit or OneCard). Kitchen Staff may also be asked to help with catering events and additional prep tasks. They are required to keep a clean and organized station keep the dish area tidy and sanitary and to perform daily and weekly cleaning tasks. Kitchen Staff will be expected to demonstrate menu recipe and general product / POS knowledge and participate in staff contests and food features or themes.

The Kitchen Staff report to the Food & Beverage Manager Food & Beverage Assistant Manager & Food & Beverage Supervisor(s) on duty at their respective campus of employment.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
The function of a kitchen staff member covers a wide variety of responsibilities in the daily operations of the SSU facilities and may be modified from time to time by the Food & Beverage Manager. It is important to note that not all functions and duties are contained within this definition and the position itself should be ever changing and adaptive.
