We are on the hunt for a dedicated Jetstar team member ready to take off in a permanent position as Line Station Engineer based in Queenstown (ZQN). In this role youll be an integral part of our Queenstown-based team performing line maintenance services on Qantas Group aircraft in compliance with the operators AOC and regulatory framework. With safety as our top priority youll work closely with specialist teams to deliver high standards of engineering ensuring quality reliability and exceptional service across every shift.
To achieve success in this role you will:
- Hold a full B1 Category Australian CASA Aircraft Engineer license or New Zealand CAA equivalent license with the A320 and B737NG ratings.
- Have excellent time management skills and a proven ability to effectively manage self and others; Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a small team;
- Have a proven commitment to quality safety and continuous improvement initiatives;
- Have proven problem-solving skills and the ability to handle competing demands particularly when under pressure and/or managing multiple stakeholders;
- Be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week;
- Ability to work shift work (4 on 4 off)
