The Sr. Manager Learning and Development is a new and critical role for the organization dedicated to driving the growth and development of colleagues at the site. This role is responsible for leading a team that will integrate into the Focus Factories to innovate learning and development initiatives across the site developing the sites Learning and Development strategy and developing functional and role capability matrixes.
As the L&D leader at the site you will be at the forefront of strategic planning designing and implementing cuttingedge training programs that enhance employee skills knowledge and capabilities in addition to growth and development. Your efforts will directly contribute to the continuous improvement of our learning and development practices fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
You will work with site leaders to ensure that our training development and learning initiatives are aligned with organizational goals driving both individual and collective success. Reporting directly to the sites Strategy and Operational Excellence Lead you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our workforce ensuring that our employees are equipped with the tools and knowledge they need to excel.

What You Will Achieve
Lead team of colleagues driving training learning and development initiatives within the organization
Develop and execute site strategy around L&D
Build colleague capability and ensure training compliance.
Develop capability matrixes across functions.
Create strategy and opportunities for cross training
Identify innovative ways to enhance adult learning.
Assess tools and technologies that will support colleague learning
Act as change agent and support change initiatives across the site
Facilitate implementation of L&D training and capability building programs.
Manage L&D budgets and set L&D goals.
Lead continuous improvement projects and L&D innovation.
Ownership of the Sites Knowledge Management Program
Providing coaching and guidance to KM Champions across the site to maintain and refresh KM Systems and Tools
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
BA/BS with 6 years of relevant experience OR an MBA/MS with 5 years of relevant experience OR a PhD or JD with 1 years of relevant experience
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Knowledge of learning and development best practices.
Experience in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry and in a GMP environment
Demonstrated skills in designing and developing adult learning activities and initiatives.
Ability to align stakeholders to develop vision and strategy
Ability to drive strategy .
Detail and goal oriented teamwork and customerfocus
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)
Masters degree in Education Human Resources Psychology or a related field.
Certification in learning and development (e.g. CPLP).
Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma).
Experience with virtual reality or other advanced learning capabilities
Good understanding of the key technologies within manufacturing and those that enhance learning
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
NONSTANDARD WORK SCHEDULE TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
May require working nonstandard hours or shifts to support training programs.
Travel to different sites or locations may be necessary to ensure alignment and support for learning and development initiatives.
