Job Description
Overview
In this role you will be responsible for assisting new and existing clients in solving their capital project needs generating new clients supporting existing clients and advancing the business development process. You will actively participate in the planning and of company marketing activities providing vital input based on your interactions with prospects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead and support national growth opportunities in the Food Manufacturing market
- Responsible for communicating regularly with National Food Business Lead Regional Office leadership other Business Development Leads and Project Managers
- Conduct appropriate research to identify target companies/organizations within industry segments denoted in the business unit plan
- Contacts qualifies and sets appointments with targets via telephone and electronic means
- Provides targets with appropriate Haskell marketing material and responses to specific interests identified by targets
- Visits qualified targets and/or arranges for personal sales calls by appropriate Haskell personnel
- Prepares qualifications statements and assists in preparing responses to proposals for specific projects
- Develops and maintains relationships with local and national civic professional and economic organizations that are sources of prospects
- Maintains uptodate prospect files and electronic databases
- Develops and manage a public relations program to include marketing and customer outreach
- Represents Haskell at trade shows conventions and professional meetings
- Take other steps as directed by the VP Market or Division lead of Consumer Products and or VP of Business Development
- Attract recruit develop train and retain highcaliber talent
Education/Experience:
- Minimum of a 4year college degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering construction marketing or a related field
To thrive in this role youll need:
- Demonstrated experience within plant engineering plant operations or CPG manufacturing
- Extensive experience selling A/E/C services to Food Manufacturers
- Excellent communication organization and followup skills
- Excellent sales and customer relationship skills
- Ability to understand and execute the company vision and values of Team Excellence Service and Trust

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand walk stoop kneel crouch and manipulate (lift carry move) light to medium weights of 1050 pounds. Requires good handeye coordination and arm hand and finger dexterity including the ability to grasp and visual acuity to use a keyboard operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit reach with hands and arms talk and hear.
