Hampden Vets have an exciting opportunity to join our friendly team.
The Role:
This role would be ideal for someone who would like a broad mix of consulting operating and in particular to improve their skills in delivery of hospital inpatient care.
We can support recently graduated vets or a vet looking for a change in direction.
If you have an interest in medicine diagnostic imagingor emergency critical care and might be thinking about working towards gaining a certificate in one of these areas itoffers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in our busy hospital which provides an ample caseload. You will be fully supported throughout inpatient shifts working alongside a more senior colleague.
The role is fulltime 40 hrs/wk over 4 days primarily based at the hospital in Aylesbury but occasionally a consulting shift could be at one of the branches.
About Us
The hub of our practice is our purposebuilt RCVS Accredited Hospital in the centre of Aylesbury which is fitted out with a full range of diagnostic and surgical equipment allowing our team to work to the highest standards. The 3 branches in the town and surrounding villages funnel in a client base that is well insured and motivated to work up cases.
Hospitalised patients are managed to a high level with the support of our committed and talented team of RVNs. The quality of care doesnt stop at the end of the workday as our dedicated team of Night Vets and RVNs provide round the clock emergency and intensive care for our patients. We are also fortunate to be situated close to some of the best referral centres in the country.
Our Team:
We have a fabulous friendly team of 13 Day Vets 3 Night Vets 18 Day Nurses 3 Night Nurses 3 Kennel Assistants 2 Lab Techs plus our wonderful support colleagues all dedicated to ensuring we deliver outstanding care.

Aylesbury a bustling market town is situated in Buckinghamshire South East England. This town comes with many great attractions and home to the Roald Dahl Childrens Gallery. It is also a great base for exploring the scenic Chiltern Hills where you can hike bike or picnic among the rolling countryside.
There are good travel links with London under 50 miles away by road and under an hour by train.
