Job Description

Are you passionate about driving sales growth and being a subject matter expert We are looking for a dynamic Senior Sales Engineer to lead our efforts in expanding our market through valueselling.

What is the job about

As the Senior Sales Development Engineer you will be the subject matter expert for Dosing and Disinfection and will be responsible for developing the share of wallet within this area.

You will be managing own customer accounts (sales budget) and develop new customers. Also you will be responsible for upskilling the area sales resources to be able to sell Dosing and Disinfection solutions through tandem visits training and coaching.

You will become a part of Grundfos Industry Division and report directly to the Area Sales Director Industry. You will be responsible for the European market.

Moreover you will:

  • Be responsible for the existing customers in the area and grow the customer base. Owning the budget and profitability for Dosing and Disinfection within area of responsibility.
  • Develop penetration plan to grow the Grundfos share of wallet within Dosing and Disinfection.
  • Provide commercial and some technical support on Dosing and Disinfection products.
  • Train/coach the sales team and help them grow their accounts on Dosing and Disinfection products.
  • Gather valuable market intelligence and provide meaningful input to business.
  • Close the sale on large opportunities involving Dosing and Disinfection products.
  • Be area representative for Dosing and Disinfection marketing interactions and new product sales releases.
  • Actively participate and contribute to the Dosing and Disinfection network in Europe.

About you

You excel in a matrix organization demonstrating a strong ability to navigate and thrive in such environments. To succeed in this role you are customeroriented and good at building and maintaining excellent relationships with clients. Collaboration is one of your key strengths and with your adaptable mindset you embrace new challenges with enthusiasm.

Furthermore we imagine that you have:

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience within a technical sales role.
  • Bachelors degree in chemical engineering combined with commercial skills/education is preferred.
  • Experience with (chemical) Water Treatment or dosing applications in the process industry.
  • Strong understanding of the dosing and disinfection market including relevant channel partners endusers distributors.
  • Strong knowledge within laws and regulations.
  • Experience from working in a large international organization.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30 of the time.
  • Fluent in English.
