Job Description

Limited for 1 year until 1st April 2022 part time 19h/week

Field of activity
As Legal Counsel you will work in the central legal department of Deutsche Brse AG as part of a parental leave replacement on the basis of a thorough work specific introduction in the team handling legal issues with a strong international context in the area of general civil and capital markets law as well as exchange and securities law. The focus will be on the legal support of Group Deutsche Brses Frankfurt Stock Exchange and the Derivative Exchange Eurex Deutschland.

Tasks/responsibilities

  • Legal advice of Eurex Deutschland and Frankfurt Stock Exchange and their respective operating companies in civil law exchange law and capital markets law matters in particular review and preparation of public law rule books private law agreements and general terms and conditions
  • Handling of court and sanctions proceedings
  • Collaboration with exchange supervisory authorities

Qualifications/required skills

  • First and Second German judicial state exams above average
  • Interest in capital markets exchange and securities law
  • Well proficiency of the German and English language
