DescriptionSioufas & Associates Law Firm a leading Greek law firm with offices in three major cities of Greece (Athens Thessaloniki and Patras) and Romania is currently looking for a paralegal with expertise in Residency by Investment (Golden Visa) and in Work Migration/Mobility programs who would like to join and assist its dynamic motivated and highly skilled team of qualified attorneys.
The ideal candidate will have a basic knowledge in immigration/investment cases specifically in the area of both Golden Visa programs and Work Migration/Mobility programs (crossborder employment transfers for third country citizens white & blue collars Financially Independent Persons Residence Permits Digital Nomads Residence Permits etc. and will be responsible for supporting the legal team with its everyday responsibilities.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will cover a variety of issues concerning immigration and investment related paralegal activities. Amongst others the following responsibilities apply to this position:
- Assisting the legal team which conducts consultations with clients (either physical persons or legal entities) to assess either their own or their clients eligibility for Golden Visa programs and Work Migration/Mobility programs (crossborder employment transfers for third country citizens white & blue collars Financially Independent Persons Residence Permits Digital Nomads Residence Permits etc.
- Assisting for the preparation and review of visa/permit residency applications legal documents and supporting materials ensuring compliance with applicable regulations as per the guidelines given by the competent lawyers.
- Communicating with the clients and helping the lawyers represent the clients in any transactions involved as well as before public authorities and/or banks.
- Communicating with all competent authorities (in Greece and abroad) to ensure the smooth and speedy progress of the cases.
- Participating in client meetings/ conferences /follow up minutes keeping.
- Documenting all steps of the cases in the companys CRM system and providing the clients with frequent updates.
- Working effectively as part of a team as an active member and sharing knowledge and experience with other associates.
Requirements - A university degree is desirable
- 2 years of experience as a paralegal preferably in a leading law firm and/or large inhouse department
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in immigration law with a focus on Golden Visa and Work Migration/Mobility programs.
- Excellent written communication and drafting skills
- Fluency in the English language on both levels of oral communication and writing skills
- Business acumen with a solutionoriented approach
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
