About the role:
Based in Madrid and reporting to the Head of Operational Excellence. We are on the hunt for an experienced detailoriented Business Analyst to join our energetic Team in Madrid. You will be instrumental in evaluating business processes conducting data analysis defining requirements and delivering innovative solutions for improved customer experience operational efficiency and independent work efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Renewal Policy Portfolio Oversight:
- Maintain comprehensive oversight of the renewal policy portfolio working closely with regional operations managers operations service centre managers and underwriting leads.
- Drive initiatives that promote timely and effective processing of policy renewals identifying bottlenecks and recommending solutions.
- Reporting and escalating on all overdue policy renewals partnering with local Ops and UW teams to drive the renewal or lapse of all policies that have past their renewal date
- Migration Activity Management:
- Manage and oversee all policy migration activities between incountry operations and the UWC including both new migrations associated with the Kingfisher (KF) Project and existing policies undergoing businessasusual (BAU) migration processes.
- Collaborate and lead crossfunctional teams to ensure smooth transitions and mitigate any risks associated with the migration of policies between country and the UWC
- Ensure effective reporting and escalations of migration challenges and issues to senior management.
- Operations Controllership and Compliance:
- Develop and manage the of operations controllership processing activities establishing appropriate checks and balances and reporting to ensure adherence to business process guidelines.
- Monitor compliance and reporting mechanisms to ensure effective processing of policies between Underwriting and Operations teams.
- Identify areas of noncompliance or deviation from established processes and actively partner with relevant business managers to implement corrective actions or introduce added guardrails to enhance accurate processing of policies through our process lifecycle.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:
- Serve as the key point of contact between incountry teams and UWC to facilitate communication collaboration and resolution of operational challenges.
- Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to review portfolio status address concerns and provide updates on processing and migration activities.
- Reporting and Data Analysis:
- Generate and analyse reports on renewal processing times migration status and policy performance metrics to inform strategic decisions and operational improvements.
- Utilize data analytics to identify trends and insights that can drive enhancements in policy management processes
QualificationsRequirements:
- Bachelors degree in business Economics Finance or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- Advanced level in English(C1
- Good level in Spanish and other European languages like French Dutch German is a strong plus.
- Previous insurance experience is a strong plus.
- Strong abilities in conducting research data analysis and complex problem solving.
- Excellent collaborator and strong interpersonal skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with data analysis tools and methodologies.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
