We are looking to recruit a full time Consultant ENT and Head & Neck/Thyroid Surgeon to work for a leading Trust in Northern Ireland UK. This will be for a 2year fixed term contract to work full time 10 programmed activities per week) with the potential to extend at the second largest hospital in Northern Ireland with teaching hospital status.
The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and will be required to provide the optimum quality of care and efficient ENT/Benign Head and Neck/Thyroid service. He/she will share in the collective responsibility for the provision of the services for patients within the ENT Surgery Department.
The post holder will be required to provide leadership within their own speciality team. He/she will be expected to contribute to the development of excellence in clinical practice through research audit and undergraduate and postgraduate training.

Key Requirements:
Hold a driving licence which is valid for use in UK (International Licence will be valid for 1 year)
It would be desirable to have:
o Higher Qualifications e.g. MD PhD
o Fellowship including Benign Head and Neck/Thyroid Surgery
o Publications/Presentations
o Extended subspecialist training/ experience/interest in Benign Head and Neck / Thyroid Surgery.
o Experience or further training in teaching and/or research.
o GMC registered trainer
