The Regional Head of HR Operations ANZ is a strategic and handson leadership role responsible for overseeing the People Operations function across our Distribution Centres across ANZ in Perth Sydney and Auckland. This role ensures alignment of HR strategies with business goals while enhancing employee experience and driving HR operational excellence. The individual will lead a team of People Operations professionals including HRBPs HR Advisors & Administrators to deliver seamless People business partnering and implement effective People programs.
This position reports directly to Sr. Director of People Operations International.
While this role is advertised as Senior Manager HR Operations ANZ for clarity and alignment with industry standards the official internal title is Head of HR Operations ANZ. Title differences do not affect responsibilities compensation or career growth opportunities.
You will
Strategic Leadership:
- Align People Ops strategy with HelloFresh Groups business goals.
- Provide support to (senior) leaders on people matters and elevate view of People Operations across the organization.
- Lead HR initiatives like pay reviews and talent management.
- Act as the escalation point for all people matters.
Operational Excellence:
- Oversee HR operations and ensure compliance with local labour laws.
- Resolve complex HR and ER issues in partnership with other teams.
- Drive adoption and improvement of People Tech applications.
Leadership and Development:
- Manage and mentor the HR team fostering collaboration and growth.
- Develop strategic leadership development programs to support growth capability and enablement
Collaboration and Innovation:
- Collaborate with crossfunctional HR teams to create tailored solutions.
- Contribute to regional and global HR projects.
- Share market trends and best practices to enhance HR capabilities.
DataDriven Decision Making:
- Use analytics to guide workforce planning and productivity.
- Measure success with People metrics and identify improvement areas.
You have/are
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of HR experience with a focus on strategic business partnering preferably within an operational or warehouse environment.
- At least 5 years of experience managing and developing HR teams.
- Comprehensive knowledge of labor laws and regulations across the ANZ region.
- Proven expertise in managing HR projects across the entire employee lifecycle including performance management employee engagement and talent development initiatives.
- Strong ability to navigate and thrive in a fastpaced rapidly changing environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with high emotional intelligence.
- Analytical mindset with a proven ability to use data to generate insights and solve complex problems.
- Experience with HRIS systems (Workday preferred) and proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.
- Ability to balance strategic vision with handson .
- A proactive leader who embraces innovation and drives change.
- Ability to travel within Australia to HelloFresh DC based in Perth and to Auckland (New Zealand) quarterly or on a need to basis.
