The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting risk evaluation processes by delivering accurate and timely data for calculations creating insightful reports and developing dashboards to monitor key metrics.
This position involves working with diverse data sources ensuring data accuracy and preparing datasets for advanced calculations used in financial analysis.
The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in data querying and transformation experience working with SQL and exposure to tools like Python and Spark.
They will also collaborate closely with the team through JIRA actively contributing to the overall success of the project. This is an excellent opportunity for a midlevel professional to apply their skills in a dynamic and impactful environment.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Data Analyst preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
Proficiency in SQL for querying and data manipulation including working with complex datasets.
Experience creating reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI Tableau or equivalent.
Ability to locate and extract necessary data from various source systems to support calculations.
Familiarity with project management tools like JIRA for team collaboration.
NicetoHave Competencies:
Experience with Python and Spark for occasional data processing or analysis tasks.
Familiarity with bankingrelated data structures and concepts such as risk management or financial performance metrics.
Knowledge of data quality assurance practices to ensure high reliability of datasets.
Exposure to ETL processes and data pipeline development.
Understanding of cloudbased data platforms such as AWS GCP or Azure.
