ThisisafantasticopportunitytoworkinafastpacedFintechenvironmentwhereyouwillhaveautonomytoputprocessesinplaceandstreamlinetheexistingones.
KeyAccountabilities:
- Helpingtopreparethebusinessforexitinthemediumterm
- SupportingtheGFCindevelopingtheFinancefunctionidentifyingthecriticalelementsoftheFinanceblueprintandmaturingtheoveralloperatingmodelforFinance
- Buildingandmaintainingstrongrelationshipswiththeboardandrisk/auditsubcommitteesaswellasbanksauditorsregulatorsadvisorsandotherkeystakeholders
- Ensuringthefirmbuildsaworldclassaccountingandreportingfunctionandtakingresponsibilityforaneffectiveandhighlyautomatedfinancialcontrolenvironmentacrossallourbusinesses
- Takingresponsibilityforpreparingourannualreportandaccountsmonthlyconsolidatedfinancialstatementsandourmonthlyboardpacks
- Managinganddeliveringonourregulatoryreportingcommitmentsacrossanumberdifferentjurisdictionsandregulators
- Ensurethefirmidentifiesandproactivelymanagesallfinancialriskswhichmayimpactthebusinessobjectives
- DesigningbuildingandimplementingworldclassfinancialsystemstosupportandautomateourreportingandMIasweexpandinternationallyandmanageincreasingcomplexityofthegroup
- Managingsupportinganddevelopingmorejuniormembersoftheteamtoactivelytrainandimprovestaffknowledgeandempowercolleaguestotakethenextstepintheircareer
