Job Description
Infosys is seeking an OSS/BSSIVR Consultant with good experience in OSS/BSS with a proven capability to lead Development and Testing including all phases of Software life cycle including requirements gathering risk analysis project planning scheduling development testing defect tracking.
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Basking Ridge NJ or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.
Required Qualification:
Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
Experienced in the areas of OSS/BSS architecture design and implementation for Telecom customers which can enable effective capturing of requirements within Service Fulfillment / Assurance / Billing.
Experience working with IVR Domain.
Knowledge in GenAi/Prompt Engineering Concepts and applicability in IVR Space.
Preferred Skills:
Understanding on telecom OSS with experience in standard design tools Design Patterns UML BPMN SOA etc.
Experience in designing on Service Fulfilment Assurance Inventory Activation Middleware Interfaces (one or many) at telecom projects and rollout
Knowledge of Telecom Industry Standards/ regulations/ best practices in Telecom area like Frameworx (eTOM SID) ITIL IEEE etc.
Knowledge of Synch Vs Asynch APIs SOAP Rest architecture.
Must have experience in leading team of consultants / designers to achieve stated project / program goals.
Experience in defining the process business requirements and system requirements in one or more areas of Telecom process (Fulfilment/Assurance) preferably Assurance.
Should be able to prepare analyses and review proposals from internal teams be able to provide appropriate solutions to problems and make daytoday decisions to run the client projects.
Should be able to engage with multiple stakeholders like Business SI partners and System owners to understand capture finalize and sign off requirements.
Should possess Good Communication & Client interfacing skills.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
