Role
Were seeking a Software Engineer Intern to join our Design Systems team. In this role youll contribute to building and improving our design system enhancing product development efficiency and enabling teams to create intuitive accessible and polished user experiences. Youll have the chance to work on impactful projects that directly enhance the user experience for Glean. This is a hybrid 12 week internship role based out of Palo Alto.
What Youll Do
- Develop reusable UI components for web and mobile platforms
- Implement and maintain design tokens
- Collaborate with designers to translate Figma designs into pixelperfect accessible components
- Contribute to developing and enhancing our design systems core components and create userfriendly tools to facilitate its implementation across our product ecosystem.
- Work across different functional areas and collaborate with designers engineers and product managers.
What Were Looking For
- Strong foundation in CS and software development fundamentals
- Familiarity with frontend technologies such as React TypeScript Javascript HTML and CSS
- Passion for design systems UI/UX front end and building reusable scalable components
- Strong problemsolving communication and collaboration skills
- Prior internship work experience or projects that demonstrate frontend/design systems knowledge is preferred
