About the role

The EnphaseCommodity Manager manages Global Commodity StrategyNPI sourcing strategyCommodity Market intelligence & Materials procurement processesfor the assigned Commodities for Global Manufacturing Sites& Global spendworkingwithComponent Suppliers & Enphase Contract ManufacturersSupplychainand procurementteams.

Major deliverables for the role will be Competitive Cost Continued supplies with Quality and Ontimewithout linedisruptionsLongtermCommodity strategy & Supplier relationships.

What you will do

• Consistently and effectively source & procure materials tomeetdemand plan&NPI launch plans.
• Cost & Contract Management:
  1. Ensure timelyupdationof all Commodity influenced Procurement Databases to support financial/product costtracking and analytics Like Item Master Pricing DatabaseLTs MOQs NCNR termsand other terms & conditionsinfluencing total cost of ownership and supply continuityetc..
  2. Quarterly Negotiation Establish strategic supplier contracts supplier service level agreements and performance measurement programs. including LT MOQ NCNRetc..
  3. Identify and drive proactive cost reduction opportunities with cross functional team as Program managersthrough alternate sourcing qualification VA/VE opportunities etc.
  4. Work with Accounts Payable and Receiving to resolveanyinvoicing and receiving issuesto ensureontimesupplier payments
  5. Develop should costings to effectively negotiate and manage right costs.
  6. Benchmarking of different suppliers to ensure lowest costs
• SupplyManagement :
  1. LongtermSupplier capacity planning to ensure sustainable supplies.
  2. Review purchase ordersand shipment tracking information in Enphase / EMS ERP systems to ensure no Manufacturing line disruptionsor excess ordering
  3. Coordinate inventory planning and replenishment of raw materials components and finished goods with suppliers distributors and EMS partners to meet business requirements.
  4. Maintain sustainable inventory levels of components at suppliers and EMSand alsoensure no excess Inventories or OBS creation ECO/ECN. PCN management
  5. Resolve any quality issues disrupting line andcost impact

• Strategy :
  1. Understand the market intelligence for the commodities andplan aheadon ensuring optimum cost and supply availability and mitigate the risks to cost and supplies
  2. New supplier selectiononboarding Supplieraudit & SCrisk assessment& mitigation
  3. DevelopLongtermCommodity strategy and Preferred Supplier list for assigned commodities and ensure sourcing to meet PSL strategyas per definedmeasurablemetric
  4. Develop business relationships with suppliers that enable long term optimized support.
  5. NPI sourcing support and guidance onspecingin the right component and supplier as per theCommoditywisePSL strategy. Act as escalation point with suppliers to NPI sourcing team for quick turnaround NPI launches
  6. Develop PSL to mitigate COO risks and one country dependency
  7. Plan Vendor rationalization and grow business with preferred suppliers
  8. Develop and standardize key business sourcing & procurement processes through written process documents.
  9. Support Functional initiatives onDigitisationand process improvements
  10. Provide detailed data information and reports related to plans / results of procurement activities and deliverables to executive teams MISreporting

Who you are and what you bring

• Education:BachelorsdegreeinEngineering(EE orE&C) with 10 years of experiencein sourcingElectrical &Electronic components preferablyin Active components&semiconductors.Foundry and FAB knowledgewill bean added advantage
• Must be a Problem Solver &NotProblemTeller !!
• Worked as Global Commodity manager inpast experienceand tactical procurementexperience
• Haveindepthtechnicalknowledge&sourcingexperience ofElectrical &Electroniccomponents
• Extensivefunctional experience inglobal sourcingwithstrong negotiation skillsworkingwithglobalsuppliers/cross functional teamsand also tactical procurementto manage supply and inventory
• Experience inDevelopingshouldcostingsheets and drivennegotiation based on zero base costings.
• Experience to work withcontract manufacturers / EMSandtacticalprocurement teams to drive problem resolution ECO implementation quality processes andeffective source cost analysis
• LongtermStrategic& Logicalthinking. Leadership mindset to be a problem solver.
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills withstrong presentation skills
• Strong computer application& Software usageskillslikeMS excelPowerpoint ERP systems etc.
• Must be able to work in an environment of short notice changes and tolerate interruptions
• APICSCPM and/or other certifications a plus
